TE/MO is the stage name of singer and actress Teagan Early from Chicago, Illinois. She released her first own songs in 2024 - including the latest single: THE TOWER. I was allowed to take the cover photo for the song with Teagan at a shoot in April at her home in Chicago.
Teagan and I met in April for a photoshoot to create promotional material for their upcoming singles and the album, which will be released later in 2024. The motto: Dark, spooky, creepy. We photographed a total of three concepts. The result was over 300 great pictures that will find their way to fans in the future – maybe even as merchandise in posters or their own tarot card deck?
The single THE TOWER is inspired by Tarot – something that will continue in the album. A next single awaits fans soon. TE/MO had first released the very personal and heartbreaking EP MOTHER in 2024. In it, she sings about her life with endometriosis and the fact that she will probably never have children of her own. Their songs were produced by JP Warner and Joey Grace.
Most people know Teagan, especially here in Germany, mainly through the viral hit musical EPIC by Jorge Rivera-Herrans. In the musical, Jay, as he likes to call himself, leads listeners through the history of the Odyssey. As Odysseus, he shows us how he develops from a man of mercy to a monster who does everything to finally get home. Teagan sings Athena, the goddess of wisdom and mentor of Odysseus in the musical.
