In January, I spent almost two weeks in one of my three favorite places in the world: Oahu, Hawaii. The trip was organized by Iain Reid, creator of the LOST fan series Avalon Station. Along with the other actors*s* in the series, we visited places where LOST was filmed, shot scenes ourselves, and experienced many surprises.
LOST Locations = Avalon Station Locations
It's no secret that LOST is my favorite show and means a lot to me. I have already been to Hawaii twice to visit the LOST Locations and go to the LOST concert.
This time I was there with the team around Avalon Station. Main reason: We wanted to film a few more scenes for episode 4, specifically at the original LOST locations. This included the beach where Oceanic Flight 815 crashed and the bamboo forest where Jack wakes up in the very first scene.
We also visited other filming locations. Because Iain is as big a LOST fan as I am and so is most of the Avalon Station team. We were also at the waterfall in Waimea Valley, where Sawyer and Kate find the silver suitcase, at the Banyan trees from LOST, and at the beach where the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 camp from season two onwards.
Avalon Station? What is that supposed to be?

I have the team of Avalon Station met in December 2024 at the Comic Con in Dortmund. And after a very long conversation about LOST and their fan project, I stuck with it.
Avalon Station is a fan series, which takes place in the LOST universe. It doesn't try to be LOST, but it's an Easter egg for any LOST fan. The series, which has four episodes so far, is about the idea that there is not just one island, but an entire archipelago. Iain explores these other islands in his project.
I now have my own character in Avalon Station and had my acting debut in episode 3. The scenes that were filmed like on Oahu are included in episode 4. This will be available online for free to everyone at the end of March.

Travel photos, portraits and a good friend
The group we were in Hawaii with was more than just fabulous. The other actors* at Avalon Station are great and our group dynamics were wonderful from the start.
Also, my good friend Carrie (Caroline Rose Photography) joined us. We were already on Oahu together in 2024 and she accompanied me to the LOST concert.
With two female photographers on the team, it was of course clear that there would be numerous photos, portraits and content ideas. And Carrie and I didn't hold back; especially since the motives were so great.
